Severity: Moderate
Adverse Effects:
Dry cough, hyperkalemia, dizziness, renal function changes, angioedema (rare but serious)
Contraindications:
Pregnancy, bilateral renal artery stenosis, history of ACE-inhibitor–induced angioedema
Precautions:
Monitor renal function and potassium especially in CKD; start low and titrate slowly in elderly; stop before pregnancy
